Heya Tee. I just got a shock as well so it's most certainly not down to me! I've been trying to work out whether it's Richard's work or it's to do with the company that hosts the site.
New smilies you say? awww, it's cute!

Anyone else find that when the page loads it sort of doubles up on itself first of all though...weird.

Now THAT was me.
If anyone has major issue with it then I can always change it again . I've moved the board layout on the front page as well to put the most used ones easier to find.

Nowt to do with me guv'nor!
I've got some news about the SA site - I've been looking through the visit stats and we have had 7,040 new visitors this year!!! With 16,500 separate page views!
So, I'm pushing for more help on the site - if you know somebody, send them to the homepage > http://www.strugglingauthors.co.uk and let them have a read.

That's great news Richard . I've been trying to persuade my friend Ali to help out 'cos she's another aspiring writer but she's a bit scared bless her.
Hope you don't mind me fiddling about with the site look/layout. I was just fiddling around in the admin screen and I liked this one lol. Still can't get it to display the right time though...

No, it's GORGEOUS - I love the colour and have changed my avatar to complement it! I'm even thinking of changing my blog to match!!
Tell your friend not to be scared - just drop me a mail. it seems that even without our input it is still pulling in over 600 visitors a month!! So, we just have to do something to make up for that commitment!!!
The more the merrier I say as I'm doing a total rewrite of my book (starting this evening) and then sending the first 10,000 words for a pro critique!

Ooh, scary (and time consuming!) - good luck with it .
She seemed less apprehensive when I broached the subject with her during our break this afternoon. I'm gonna have a chat with her next week and encourage her to get in touch.

Hi all Well I have to get in on this one............... The site looks very professional and posh. So all that struggling to get our site noticed has paid off then Richie babe. I think it's great and I'm pleased to be a contributor. (although a bit lapse of late)
......So Richie babe is that a new look for you also or an old photo to kid us into thinking your a Rick nelson lookalike? Either way looking good hun. Can I earn some brownie points for the flattery? Ha Ha

I'm glad that all our hard work has paid off - I can't wait until we're all successful authors and can 'plug' the SA site in our interviews with Jeremy Paxman! )
No, it's an oldish photo that I found on my company's file server! Ricky Nelson indeed - do I look old enough to have heard of him....? Well, It's Late, thanks for saying I look like a Teenage Idol, I'll be off now with just time to say hello Mary-Lou and goodbye heart.
