How can you get constructive criticism on your work? How can you trust the people you send your work to, to not copy it? I’m not saying the work is J.K.Rowling worthy or even anything remotely close to it, but if you want your project to analyzed to see if its strong enough how would you go about it.

There are many companies offering critiques in exchange for payment. A search on the net brings up thousands of them. The trick is to find a good one, which really needs personal recommendation. The other way is to ask at least 6 trusted friends to read it and make sure they are brutally honest with you. The only other way I can think of is to persuade a reputable agent to read it with a view to taking you on, but this is very, very difficult to acheive.
