Right then

If neither and neither
Tomato and tomato
either and either
are all spelt the same and mean the same in the English Language.

Why is it that LIVE meaning alive and well
and LIVE meaning for instance to reside in an abode
are spelt the same but have two different meanings?

Yes Monty Pythons film 'The Meaning of Life' played with this idea.......Douglas Adams also.

What a funny "olde worlde" language our good olde English is.
I blame the Anglo Saxons for some reason but I don't know why. :lol:

Yes they have a lot to answer for, apparently swear words started when they came on the scene. Not sure how anyone knows this is true, unless they have a time machine.
