As you may have guessed from the post's title, this week is National Storytelling Week.

A variety of events will be held all around the country to promote the week, with old, as well as young being invited to join in. So why not celebrate it? Join a book group, snuggle up to read a book with the kids, join a library or attend one of the national events.

For more information visit the SFS website http://www.fairbruk.demon.co.uk/SfS/menucontent.html

It seemed to me that if, at some point in the distant future, when scores of young people take up the lesson of Yes, it would be a shame if all they did was get drunk and push a couple of monks in a pond.
