Hello all,
An ideal place to write due to the peace and quiet and slower place of life is the Dordogne in France. We liked it so much we now have a place there and it is ideally suited to people who want to have a relaxing break, take in the sights and sounds and do some serious scribbling.
(I think there's a picture from the Dordogne on the 'Writer's Block' area of the Struggling Authors website - the castle at the top - Beautiful.)
I have uploaded a picture of the accomodation. If you want to read about the area from a fiction perspective then get hold of a copy of Michael Chrichtons' Time Line (Ignore the movie - it's not very good in comparison)
