If you've got some prizes for us I'll happily come up with something

This might not be what you had in mind MT, but I did suggest to RG once about running a non-fiction competition. The prize could be a relevant book, or even a subscription to Writers' Forum / Writing Magazine. Would have to charge an entry fee though. Over to you RG.

My guess..........he has got the right eye on his novel and publication, the left eye he's editing said novel with, and his third beady eye he keeps on the forum message boards.
However if he doesn't respond to this he's no doubt up to something. Ha Ha
