When Richard first spoke to me about starting a blog I nearly responded with "Blog Off".
However I have been religiously keeping up my blog since I started it. It's my way of getting good or bad days out of the system.
If i'm remiss and I leave it a while CQ comes back at me and sez "Well write something then".
We regularly put various comments on one anothers blogs. Sopmetimes sensible mostly rude but thats life as they say.
If you wish you can visit my blog at htpp://tgeering.blogspot.com There is also a link to CQ's blog .... Division of the damned

I kept my blog going for a year. I'm quite chuffed with that. I have recently removed it though, as I want to start afresh sometime in the near future. I thought my old blog was a bit boring to be honest, and I found the blogger template a bit restrictive. Mind you, I'm not very technical, so perhaps it wasn't the fault of Google!
Have just signed up with blog.co.uk and will be putting together a new blog soon. Am thinking of calling it (if I can), diaryofastrugglingauthor. Would anyone mind me using this name?

I've got no problem with using that name if it's ok with RG.

Blogs do get stale after a while I guess although CQ and I regularly comment on each others which sometimes makes for lively reading.

Thanks mad tee.
If anyone isn't happy with me using such a title, I can always change it slightly. How about aspiring author? Hmm . . . Maybe that's not quite right. Will have to get my thesaurus out! :)

How about INspiring Authors
OR: INspired authors

Food for thought

Hmm . . . Not a bad idea. I quite like that, though would be worried it would sound egotistical.

Nah ......... I disagree.
We need to be inspiring to encourage others
and inspired to do the afore mentioned.

Thats the way I see it anyway honey
and hopefully it makes sense. :D

Hi Helen,

No, no problem with you using that name for your blog :-)

sorry about the delay.

Check this site out - thought of you whilst reading it > http://www.lorrainemace.com/ - just because she seemed to have done similar things to you :-)

RG

(I bought a copy of her book from Amazon(ABC) too - will let you know)

Hi R,

I've got that book you mentioned. I think it's really useful to have. Let me know what you think of it.

Re. my blog, I do still intend to start a new one. Thanks for saying it's okay to use the title I suggested. Am waiting a bit before I set it up. Will let you know when it's up and running.

H :)
