I find the 'show don't tell' maxim very difficult to uphold in my work. I do my best to 'show', but inevitably I find areas where I have told too much. I don't even realise I'm doing it at times! And sometimes, isn't there too much showing? It makes the reader work very hard to try to picture what is going on. It's finding the right balance which I find tricky. Any advice anyone?

H :)
