Well, either love it or hate it it's awfully snowy here in the UK at the moment. I live at the bottom of the hill and was entertained by an ambulance trying to get to the top which kept slipping back down last night (I know that's not very nice as someone was obviously hurt but it can't have been too urgent 'cos they didn't seem to be in too much of a rush) and a car which got stuck about halfway up and ended up being abandoned until this morning.

Then, this morning, I was surprised that my younger brother was home - when I asked why he told me he'd walked all the way to uni only to find it was closed. That made me laugh a lot. I probably won't be quite so amused tomorrow when I have to try and get to work...I am also ever so slightly worried about the fact that my parents are travelling home down the motorway today after going away for my mum's birthday.

Anyways, I have pictures!

Our garden last night:

And then this morning:

About half an hour ago:

And 30 seconds ago - you can see it's got thicker since the last one:

Snow is pretty.

I like snow, but only when I'm all warm and toasty in bed.

Well the fact is, I'm pastier than an uncooked pastry and this does tend to have its disadvantages when in warmer climes.
I don't do the sun very well, I'm afraid.
In fact I'm completely plop at it, if the truth be known.
Our holiday in Spain was a constant battle against the sun's more harmful side effects, to the point where simply the act of leaving the hotel for a newspaper involved a 15 minute grease up session.
Ah well, if I didn't want to suffer under the sun then I shouldn't have been born ginger, right kids?
Right Reg.
